In 24 years living in New Orleans, this was my first time going to Quartermaster's. I must say it looks like a dump, smells like a dump but it delivers like the Taj Mahal.
One of the things that I always look forward to when I visit New Orleans is getting an Authentic New Orleans Hot Sausage Sandwich with fresh french bread. The Hot Sausage has a very unique, spicy flavorful sandwich yet it is not too "HOT". It is vital to get some fresh french bread that is not too soft and still has that element of crispiness that really makes the sandwich great. I attempted to get a hot sausage sandwich at another seafood place but the taste was not even close to Quartermaster's. On top of that, the cooks were extremely nice as they showed the true meaning of Southern Hospitality.
Quartermaster is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with free delivery. Quartermaster's was awesome but too bad it really looks like this:
B- Good Hot Sausage, Nice Cooks But is a Dump. LOL!!!!!
